Honda has released the official details on its revised for model year 2011 Honda CR-V crossover. Packing an exclusively big variety of improvements, the new 2011 CR-V also strikes with restyled and sharper outer dress.
For the new model the extremely versatile and accommodating SUV also boasts a new CR-V SE grade, a ‘Special Edition’ that further build on the CR-V LX level with sophisticated lightweight alloys, a 160-watt AM/FM/6-disc changer with six speakers, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and rear privacy glass.
In the terms of power, the 2011 Honda CR-V sports a 2.4-liter four-cylinder, all-aluminum, 16-valve, Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) i-VTEC unit, which delivers the strong 180 horsepower and 161 lb-ft of maximum torque. It estimates combined fuel-economy ratings of 24 miles per gallon (mpg) on the 2WD models and 23 mpg on the Real Time 4WD variants.
Standard, the ride’s features include an electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission with active lockup torque converter, Grade Logic Control system, Real Time 4WD system, air conditioning with air-filtration system, keyless entry, tilt-and-telescopic steering column, cruise control, power windows with auto-up/down driver’s window, power door and tailgate locks, AM/FM/CD audio system with four speakers, fuel economy meter and 17-inch steel wheels.
